Who We Are | What We Do

Founded in 1986, the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and is the charitable arm of USTA Southern California. For three decades, the Foundation has provided grant opportunities and offered scholarships to increase participation in the sport among underserved populations, seeking to expand the popularity of tennis in the region.

The Foundation funds programs, innovative projects, leagues, and events that increase access, availability, and participation of tennis for people of all ages, abilities, ethnicity, and economic backgrounds. The Foundation also offers scholarships that support promising young junior players who are working hard to achieve their tennis aspirations.

Grants & Scholarships

The Foundation offers a variety of Grants that support tennis programs, projects, leagues, and events, and welcomes innovative ideas and grassroots endeavors.

The Foundation also offers a variety of need-based Scholarships to promising young junior tennis players and deserving students, including the Jack Kramer Future Champions Scholarship Grant, the Henry Talbert Summer Tennis Camp Grant, and the Victor Stern Scholarship Grant.
