SOCAL SUCCESS AT APRIL 2024 L3 TOURNAMENTS

Justin Riley Anson and Kristian Sharma won the L3 Boys’ 16s Doubles title in Long Beach. Anson also won the Boys’ 16s Singles title.

Southern California juniors took home 19 USTA Level 3 National Tournament titles in singles and doubles from April 13-15 at various sites throughout the country. Singles draws were made up of 32 top-ranked juniors and doubles draws featured 16 teams each.

Three of these L3 tournaments were held in Southern California. The Racquet Club of Irvine hosted Boys’ and Girls’ 12s singles and doubles, El Dorado Tennis Center hosted Boys’ and Girls’ 16s singles and doubles, and Lakewood Tennis Center hosted Boys’ and Girls’ 18s singles and doubles. Juniors earned both Southern California and National standings points for these L3 tournaments.

Isabelle Nguyen (San Gabriel), Indra Vergne (West Hills), Savannah Schmitz (La Jolla), Justin Riley Anson (Laguna Niguel), and David Wu (San Diego) were top performers in their respective divisions, claiming both singles and doubles titles.
