Become a USTA Official and be an ambassador for the sport you love! Officials ensure fair play and sportsmanship during matches, help tournaments run smoothly, and teach the rules of the game and their implementation.

Officials play an integral role at tournaments of all levels–from local community events to professional matches–focusing on fair play and sportsmanship. Give back to the sport of tennis by becoming a USTA Certified Official and help to grow the game and ensure fair play!
Get the best seat in the house, watch top college players in action, and work your way up to officiating at professional events.
Pay rates vary depending on the tournament and the amount of duties assigned, but generally fall between $20 and $30 per hour. Prior tennis knowledge is a plus, but not required!
