USTA Facility Recovery Grants offer support across SoCal, nation

In response to the current pandemic and its impact on the business community, the USTA has endeavored to provide assistance to tennis facilities across the United States. The application process for Facility Recovery Grants will open on Monday, May 4.

The USTA Facility Recovery Grants program was created to assist facilities to defray some of the tennis-related costs associated with reopening in 2020, for those facilities closed due to the impact of COVID-19. The facility must be open to the public for play and/or programming, and these grants must be used for tennis-related costs for equipment, cleaning and sanitizing or other tennis-related expenses necessary to reopen, once local, state, and federal guidelines allow. These grants are not designed to cover lost income, dues, or revenues.

There is $5 million in Facility Recovery Grant funding available to eligible facilities nationwide. Applications will be evaluated by USTA and Section staff in the order in which they are received. The deadline for applying for these grants is June 12, 2020.
